How much is my face worth?

So recently I've been spending a lot of ££££'s on make up, so here we are putting life and face into perspective and I'm kinda scared about not only the total but how much make up I actually wear!

So here we go!

Total = £236.96
Money With Wings on Apple
Wow i'm genuinely shocked about how much that has come to, but come to think about it it isn't really surprising seen as many of the products are Mac. Can you imagine how much it would come to if I was going out out, like with lashes and lip liner AND this doesn't even include tools.

I need a seat!

Boots Beauty Haul

Shopping.....such a wonderful thing isn't it? Somewhat therapeutic in our hectic lives, no wonder I find myself wondering the aisles of Boots & Superdrug more than twice a week!
There's been a few new items released in the drug store so I thought I'd try them out. First off I bought the new Maybelline Fit me matte and poreless foundations, although this foundation was released over  a year ago in America and Asia it has just been released over here in Europe. I have to say the colour range wasn't spectacular so I had to buy two to make my colour, I was able to buy both as they were on offer as buy one get 2nd half price. Review of the foundations will be coming soon!
As both Boots and Superdug have many offers on right now Seventeen was also on offer so i was able to re purchase my fave Define and conquer contour kit and the light concealer, but I also purchased the WOW skin 3-way highlighter, I thought it would be great for prepping the cheekbone for pressed highlighter to make it more intense or to mix with my foundation to give me that summer glow look.
I am forever on the look out for good face powders, ones that keep me matte but also that are light in weight I thought I'd try out this Kiko matte fusion pressed powder, YES it has become a fave of mine (i've already out it in my May faves post).
Boots are now stocking NYX cosmetics, one of my fave brands, any of you who are near a big boots retailer go down and check out the booth. I didn't indulge as much as I would have liked to but i did get a few things I have been wanting for ages, first off is the matte finish setting spray, and trust me it does what it says on the tin!

Nyx has also just released the Lingerie liquid lipstick, they are a selection of neutral weightless liquid lipsticks with a plush matte finish, I got the colours Exotic, Teddy and Beauty Mark. I also decided I wanted to try the soft matte lip creams again, I already had tried them before; I got the colours Cannes, Prague and Antwerp.
I feel like the affordable brands are making a hit with eye shadow palettes, I purchased Maybelline the Nudes, Seventeen Easy on the Eye called Birthday Suit, Maybelline colour tattoo and The falsies Push up drama by Maybelline (you can tell what my fave brand at Boots is). As you are reading this I have tried all these products and I am in love! I'm sure Boots still has some sort of deal so go a give yourself some retail therapy.

What have you recently purchased?

May "16 Favorites

May has been quite the month...with that comes a lot of new products and favourites. This month has been all about skin care, due to the seasonal change my skin has been in one hell of state, oily, patchy and PORES! All the products that I have been using for my night time routine have helped the state of my skin so much.

Skin Care

1. Skin Pure facial oil from Waitrose
2. Sephora Collection waterproof eye makeup remover
3. Garnier Miceller water
4. Soap & Glory Dr Spot super strength breakout clearing gel
5. Boots tea tree and hazel night gel
6. Botanics rose water face toner

Skin care has been a big thing for me this month. the skin Facial oil from Waitrose has been a god send, my face feels like a baby's bottom and my dry patches disappeared over night, it's really affordable (only £2.99). I feel like the mix of oils make for a perfect night treatment, oils include; sweet almond, olive, peach and Kernel oil.
Now, I wear a ton of make up, so getting it off after a 10 hour day is a chore! Two things that make this chore so effortless is the Sephora Collection waterproof eye makeup remover and Garnier Miceller water. The micellar water I have mentioned before on my blog but honestly it is a holy grail in my skin care routine, it really does take off EVERYTHING. The Sephora Waterproof make up remover is amazing it has oils in it as well as the water so it separates into blue and transparent liquids when settled, also removes my mascara like nobody's business. The rose water toner and tea tree night gel have really helped to reduce the amount of breakouts I've been having, especially around my chin!

Makeup

1. Makeup forever ultra HD foundation
2. Kiko matte fusion pressed powder
3. Sephora sun disk bronzing powder
4. Mac pro long wear concealer in NW20 for under eye conceal and highlight
5. Maybelline the false push up drama
6. Mac mineralize skinfinish highlighter in Soft & Gentle
7. Mac satin lipstick in Faux and matte lipstick in Taupe.

I've been venturing into different brands of makeup the past few months, and let me tell you something....I have most definitely found some new holy grails. The Mac mineralize skin finish highlighter in Soft & Gentle is a dream...and imagine that mixed with the Balm Mary loumanizer..!! Now if you may now know drug stores are the place for me when it comes to foundations, however I've decided to spend that little bit more and experiment, one foundation I have found is the Makeup Forever ultra HD liquid foundation. This foundation has everything one could ever want it's; matte, full coverage, best variety of skin tones and it has no spf which is great for flash photography.

That's all for now...let me know what your favourite skin care or makeup products have been this month!!

New Years Resolutions

Happy new year people!

It's ten days deep into 2016 and I'm wondering if anyone still has their New Years resolutions on their mind...I do. Theres many things that 2016 has to bring, for me i feel like it's a year for self reflection and self searching. I'm 23 years young and i feel like my life is in limboland at the moment. Iv'e done my degree and I've got experience within my subject but it didn't satisfy me in anyway, so this year It's to live and stop surviving. So here's my New Year's Resolutions!

1) To loose 30lbs by July 7th and 60lbs by the end of the year
Why? To bring my confidence up and i need to look hot as a bridesmaid lol
How? Stick to healthy eating and stick to a routine gym schedule.

2) Have a full driving license by the end of the year.
Why? To be finally able to feel like i'm an adult
How? Hope and pray DVLA send me my provisional licence (don't ask, long story) and to pass theory and practical.

3) Save Money
Why? Pay of my overdraft and be able to buy my own car and not worry about my bank balance.
How? Not to spend so much on food, clothes and makeup.

4) Worry less and Smile more.
Why? I aways feel like I'm worrying about something or I have some dilemma, when in fact I've made it up in my mind and it basically needs to stop.
How?  Let go of my insecurities, I have many of them and I don't expect them to all be solved within 2016 but this is my year to start!

5) And last but certainly not least, TAKE THIS BLOG SERIOUSLY.
Why? I absolutely love to express my self on a medium in which people will read and connect with me, and I also love to talk and rave about my passion, makeup! I fell if I express myself more on something i feel comfortable with, it would fixe some of my insecurities.
How? Stick to my blogging schedule to some what much dismay I do actually have one.

I know some of these may seem out of reach but as humans if we don't have goals we can't achieve, and if we can't achieve then whats the point!!

It's The Whole She-Bang!

So Christmas saw the release of thousands of beauty gift bags, i'm not really the one for gift bags because they are either all limited edition or come in sample/travel sizes and i feel like theres not much thought put into them. ❄️ November "15 Faves ❄️

Hello Beautiful human beings, Where have you been? I hear you ask, my answer to that question is no where. For the past two months I have been feeling really down, uninspired and just generally really pissy with everyone, with that being said I didn't want to project that kind of attitude on here and to you guys! i'm feeling much happier now and definitely in the festive mood. So I'd thought I'd start off the happy faze with the six things that made me happy in November.

First things first is this incredible Liquid Eye Liner, Seventeen Tattoo Me semi-permanent liquid liner. It is the blackest eye liner that has ever touched my eye lid (and my cheek and nose and my forehead lol!), and when it says Semi-Permenant it's not joking, the only way I can remove the eye liner at the end of the day is with olive oil, some may say that's a bad thing, but it's in my faves this month for that very reason. I work all day and I need something that is going to look the same as it did when I first put it on the morning.

Secondly it's the Seventeen Stay Time concealer in extra fair. I have very fair skin so I've forever been on the hunt for a concealer that will not only hide my dark circles, but will also highlight the under eyes. FINALLY not only have I found a concealer that is the right skin tone for me, but one that doesn't crease up and look cakey at the end of the day. Another plus to this concealer is that it's so inexpensive but so good, I've tried other higher end concealers and they look amazing at first but they crease and cake up during the day. this concealer is perfection.

As I have very oily skin a mattifying moisturizer is a must. Since the beginning of November I have been using the Garnier Moister Matte + moisturizer and have noticed a huge difference with the amount of oil that surfaces on my face. Enriched with green tea extract, the formula mattifies and unifies the look of my skin tone for a fresh finish. If you have oily skin I would defo recommend.

Perfume is one of my favourite things in life and Gucci by Gucci has certainly made it into my top 10 list. Although it's not a scent I would usually go for it has sentimental value to me which makes me love it even more. With notes including top notes of Guava and pear, middle notes of  Tiare flower and finally base notes of Patchouli, musk and honey. It's a floral chypre with an exoctic fruity opening smell. It lasts really long and when it softens you can really smell the honey and Patchouli. Yummy!

The last two products have been a staple in my makeup bag for a while now and have totally transformed my daily makeup routine. The Sleek Control shine and prime primer is amazing for my oily face and makes my makeup last all day long, it also fills in my pores to give my makeup a soft canvas to work with. The other is the Too faced chocolate soleil bronzer for contour. Recently I have been contouring a lot and the Chocolate soleil is the perfect  cool tone shade to give the effect of the shading around my face. It is so soft it's like butter and goes on the face so smoothly.

Wha are you're fave's this month?

♡ Autumn/Fall Cranberry Makeup 2015 ♡

So yesterday was officially the first day of Autumn/Fall! Queue vampy lips, pumpkin spice latte and candles....Autumn is hands down my fave season, to be honest I am biased because I'm and autumn baby, but there is just something about this season that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside!

Not only do I love autumn because of the pleasures Starbucks gives us, but also the fact that I can finally bang out my vampy lips and dark smokey eyes and society doesn't look at me like I'm a freak lol!

So here it is my staple Autumn look paired with a turtle neck, over the knee boots and an over sized shawl with a belt and BOOM you are the dictionary description of Autumn.
